Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. The cap GCash quotes is a figure for the balance held at a time, not a spending total. A comparison of the two numbers side by side is not meaningful, however often it appears, because they measure different things.
The figures on this page are a snapshot from 2026-09. Limits and fees can be changed by payment providers at any moment, so the provider’s own page is the sole up-to-date reference.
How fast money actually moves
Maya settles settling in real time on wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay, then by that same banking day on PESONet. This is about the payment rail rather than the casino, since the operator may hold a withdrawal for its own review before Maya ever sees it, and that review usually accounts for the waiting time.
A per-transaction cap of The Upgraded tier caps sends to another Maya user at PHP 20,000 per transaction and InstaPay transfers out at PHP 50,000 per day applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.
What Maya says about gambling transactions
General prohibitions on illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches are all Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions offer, and there is no gambling clause, as a direct reading confirms. ‘Illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’ does appear as a restricted transaction in the CREDIT CARD terms, a separate product, along with suspension or cancellation of the card as the stated consequence. The in-app gambling and gaming links in Maya were removed after BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 applied to it in August 2025. What a credit card agreement forbids is not forbidden on the wallet, which makes the distinction matter.
Verification tiers
- Basic — On the wallet, PHP 50,000 is the monthly cap; on purchases, PHP 50,000 is the daily cap. Nothing is offered at this tier for InstaPay bank transfers or for sending to other Maya users

You can hold a PHP 100,000 monthly wallet limit, buy up to PHP 100,000 per day, send a Maya user PHP 20,000 per transaction and PHP 100,000 per day at most, and move out through InstaPay at PHP 50,000 per day and PHP 100,000 per month
- Super Users — Set at PHP 500,000 monthly for the wallet, the limits also allow PHP 500,000 a day for purchases and sends. Maya does not set out what qualifies an account for this tier
- Ultimate Users — Monthly, the wallet is limited to PHP 5,000,000; daily, purchases and sends are each limited to PHP 5,000,000. Maya does not set out what qualifies an account for this tier
The published ceiling of At Upgraded the monthly figure is PHP 100,000, versus PHP 50,000 at Basic, PHP 500,000 for Super Users and PHP 5,000,000 for Ultimate Users applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.
How to tell whether a cashier offers Maya
- Open the cashier of the casino where you hold an account, signed in, and find its list of methods.
- Look for Maya by name on that list; a method the screen leaves out is not available to your account.
- Compare the account name at the casino with the name registered on Maya, letter for letter.
- Note the floor, the ceiling and any Maya charge printed beside the method before you approve the amount.
Only the cashier screen settles which rails a casino runs, so let it answer the Maya question first.
