Ticket: “The promo rules mention weighting and turnover and I have no idea what I agreed to.” This casino terms glossary closes that kind of ticket. Each word below appears on game info screens or in promotion rules, and each comes with an example from a real source: a studio’s game page, Evolution’s game descriptions or the JL59 lobby’s own menus.
Casino terms glossary: nine words with a real example
| Term | What it means | Real example |
|---|---|---|
| RTP | Percentage of total stakes a game returns across a huge number of rounds | PG Soft prints 96.92% for Mahjong Ways; JILI publishes no RTP at all |
| Volatility | How payouts are spread: small and frequent, or rare and large | JILI labels Super Ace LOW-MED; PG Soft labels Wild Bandito Medium |
| Max win | Largest payout as a multiple of the stake | Super Ace 10000x; Fortune Gems 375x |
| Payline / ways | Routes that count a win | Crazy 777 has 1 payline; Super Ace has 1024 ways |
| Bet unit | The stake for one round | Your spin, bullet or hand size |
| Wagering requirement | Amount to stake before promo credit can be withdrawn | Printed in each promotion’s rules |
| Game weighting | Share of a stake counted toward wagering, by game type | Printed in each promotion’s rules |
| Rebate | Part of the amount staked returned, by game type | A Rebate tab sits in the JL59 Offers page |
| RNG | Software that decides outcomes at random | GLI tests RNGs for unpredictability and bias |
Use the table in three moves:
- Find the word on the game’s info screen or the promotion’s rules.
- Read its meaning and the real example beside it.
- Restate the rule in pesos for your own stake before you accept anything.
JL59 casino terms on the lobby’s own screens
The lobby uses several of these words in its menus. The side menu holds Bet Records, where your past stakes are listed. Six tabs sit on the Offers page, Reward, Events, Rebate, VIP, Redeem and History, and every entry under them prints its own rules. Read those rules with this table open.
Bet unit: the number everything multiplies
A bet unit is your stake for one round. A 10000x maximum on a ₱1 bet unit is ₱10,000; the same 10000x on ₱5 is ₱50,000. Wagering is counted in the same pesos, so a larger bet unit clears a requirement faster and spends a balance faster too.
Game weighting: why some games barely count
Game weighting decides what fraction of every bet a promotion lets count against its wagering requirement. Suppose a promotion counts slots at 100% and live tables at 10%: a ₱100 slot spin clears ₱100, while a ₱100 table hand clears ₱10. Those percentages are an example; the real ones are printed in each promotion’s rules.
Glossary features: three tickets where one word was misread
Problem: “The game says 2000x, so I can win ₱2,000.” Cause: the 2000x figure multiplies whatever you stake per spin; it was never a peso amount. Fix: multiply by your own stake. Golden Empire’s 2000x on a ₱3 spin is ₱6,000, and reaching any maximum is rare.
Problem: a game with a high RTP lost steadily for an hour. Cause: RTP is measured over an enormous number of rounds and players; sixty minutes at one screen says nothing about it. Fix: use RTP to compare games, never to predict a session.
Problem: a Lightning Baccarat bet cost more than the chip placed. Cause: Evolution’s site describes a 20% Lightning Fee added to each player’s total bet. Fix: read every game’s fee and rule line before the first round.
- Find the term in the game’s info screen.
- Check its definition above.
- Restate it in pesos for your own bet unit before you play.

How to Get Started
-
Open the screen you are reading
Keep the game's info screen or the promotion's rules open, and find each unfamiliar word in the table as you meet it.
-
Translate it into pesos
Turn every multiple into an amount for your own bet unit, so 10000x on a ₱2 spin reads as ₱20,000.
-
Ask what counts
On any promotion, find the wagering requirement and the game weighting before you accept it, then decide.
